Mbarara based performing artiste Taremwa Paul, better known by his stage name T Paul, has come out to express his gratitude to his fans for their support which made it possible for him to hold a successful concert at University Inn Mbarara last weekend.
In a statement shared across his social media platforms, the self described “Kakoba Boy” wrote “Thank you for the support! We are deeply grateful for the incredible turn out at the TPaul Live in Concert on Nov. 16th at University Inn Mbarara.Your overwhelming love made the event unforgettable! We apologize for any inconvenience caused. We appreciate your understanding. Thank you for supporting TPaul and Alpha Music Entertainment.
TPaul has,in recent years, established himself as one of the premier artistes and entertainers in Western Uganda, alongside the likes of Ray G and Ambroy. He possesses a staggering combination of silky vocals and and flamboyant songwriting, which has endeared him to a sizeable fanbase in Mbarara and neighbouring districts,a fact evidenced by the massive attendance of his show.
He is now in the process of broadening his audience, courtesy of savvy and top class collaborations, such as the one with celebrated songstress Lydia Jazmine that has yielded the fast rising smash hit “Sawa Sawa”.
Jazmine was one of the artistes who supported TPaul as she joined him on stage to perform the duet,as well as her other songs. She later shared images and footage of their performance on her own socials, captioning them “Mbarara University Inn asked for water.Congs TPaul, gwe mpita lovemate”,a reference to her lyrics in “Sawa Sawa”.
