Imagine being able to fit a full size 10-inch tablet into your pocket and being able to use it whenever you want. Huawei has been able to achieve this with the Huawei Mate XT Ultimate and this blurs the line between smartphone and Tablet. The phone was released on the 24th September, 2024 by Huawei and is currently available for sale in China and it costs around 20,000 Yuan which converts to around 3000 usd.
The Mate XT Ultimate comes rocking the Kirin 9010 flagship processor, 16gb RAM, 256gb/512gb/1TB of storage, and a 10.2 inch screen. It comes with a 5600 mAh battery and 66 watts of wireless charging. when fully unfolded, the phone is 3.6 mm thick making arguably the thinnest phone in production at the moment.
Due to Huawei’s ban in the USA, the phone runs on Harmony OS which is an operating system that was developed by Huawei as a way of mitigating not being able to have google services on the phone. Aside from lacking google play services, the phone has flagship cameras on it and the fact that it folds twice, a user can get to use the main cameras as selfie cameras. The main camera has 50mp, 12mp telephoto and Ultrawide camera plus 8mp selfie camera.
